Conference A25
Exotericism, Pseudo-Esotericism and Esotericism

The objective of this conference is for the student to learn to distinguish an Esoteric school from a Pseudo-Esoteric school.
And to understand their position in Knowledge, when the experience of Esoteric Work began.
Exoterism
Exotericism means external knowledge. This knowledge is received through books or courses in the external world, through the personality. We all receive Knowledge in the physical world as exoteric knowledge.
When we find the Secret Path in the outside world, if it happens, because "out of a thousand who seek it, one finds it" and rare are the fortunate ones who find it, two paths open:
  • The Believer's Path, which accepts and believes what they were told but does nothing to verify it for themselves, accumulates knowledge (information).
  • The Practitioner's Path, which experiences what they have been taught until they test and verify it for themselves. This enters a Mesoteric stage, which will lead to Esoteric Work. Here the phrase "of a thousand who find it, one follows it" is fulfilled, since most of those who find it take it as one more piece of knowledge for the intellect.
Pseudo-Esotericism
Pseudo-esotericism means false inner knowledge. In all cases it is received by the personality and, therefore, not by the Consciousness.
Undoubtedly, in these times it has multiplied exorbitantly. Pseudo-esoteric and pseudo-occult schools abound everywhere. The merchandising of souls, books and theories is frightening; rare is the one who, among the confusion of so many contradictory ideas, manages to truly find the Secret Path.
The world has never been as materialistic as it is today, and yet so frivolous and cowardly psychic. Witches who read cards, hypnotists, mediums, spiritualists, suggestionists, sorcerers, healers, charlatans of all kinds, are present everywhere. They are seen as much in slums as in palaces, as much in public as in secret. People believe in the absurd, in the fanciful, and a rare collective madness runs from side to side of the planet.
Certainly, "sorcerers, sorcerers and black magicians multiply abundantly; but those are not saints, or prophets, or adepts of the white brotherhood."
The most serious thing of all this is the intellective fascination; there is a tendency to nourish oneself strictly intellectually, with everything that comes to mind. The vagabonds of the intellect are no longer satisfied with all that subjective and general-type library that abounds in the book markets, but now, and what is worse, they also gorge and become indigested with the cheap pseudo-esotericism that abounds everywhere. The result of all these jargons is the confusion and manifest disorientation of the rogues of the intellect.
Really, the important thing is to know oneself deeply at all levels of the mind.
How to Distinguish Pseudo-Esoteric Schools
They charge for Knowledge.
They do not teach the Three Factors of the Revolution of Consciousness.
They say that all roads lead to Rome.
They insinuate or declare that Esoteric Knowledge can be learned in books.
They are intellectuals.
They give teachings of ineffable appearance, which lead nowhere.
They give teachings that confuse.
They teach many things, distracting elements of Esotericism.
They mix forces.
They teach practices of the Black Lodge.
They teach awakening powers.
They teach how to handle candles, cards, crystals, pendulums, etc.
They teach various forms of healing.
They teach parapsychology, spiritism, and mediumship.
They teach witchcraft and manipulation of Elementals.
They teach Black Tantrism.
They do not teach chastity.
They do not teach how to truly Die.
They do not teach that karma is paid in cash, nor that it can be negotiated, nor how to negotiate it.
They do not teach that one must seek Self-Realization and that it must be achieved in a single existence.
Many relate Esotericism to the sale of perfumes, essences, talismans, candles, books, filters, minerals, concoctions, tunics, etc. Without having anything to do with it, they deceive people who are unaware.
The main difference between a White Mage and a Black Mage is the quality of their knowledge. When we read a black magician's book, even if we don't know it, we are invoking him. When one mixes forces, the original force is lost while a third force arises, which is destructive.
Pseudo-esotericism manages low psychism, activates the Kundartiguador organ, and slowly causes us to lose the sincere desire to self-realize. Little by little, trust in one's own Being is lost and one ends up trusting in foreign elements.
Esotericism
Esotericism means Inner Knowledge or Hidden Knowledge. True Esotericism seeks Self-Knowledge, which can only be found in our Inner World. This knowledge is for the Consciousness; it is not possible to obtain this knowledge in any external place, in any manual of conduct, books, or study center in the outside world. This knowledge is received in the internal worlds.
Esoteric Knowledge is only achieved through the Three Factors of the Revolution of Consciousness, which are the only Three Objective Works to be done: Psychological Death, Spiritual Birth, and Conscious Sacrifice for Humanity. The object of Esoteric Knowledge is none other than to Self-Realize the Being.
Esoteric Knowledge is received inwardly. As we release consciousness, each released spark receives the knowledge that corresponds to it according to its vocation. When we receive Esoteric Knowledge in closed books, it is knowledge exclusively for our Being. It cannot be revealed in the external world, which is why we must know how to be silent. But if it is received in an open book, it can be given to our students. Each Being has its own Knowledge. As Consciousness awakens, and we enter into harmony with nature, we are given the wisdom that we had a long time ago.
The practitioner verifies with the Three Factors and the different practices learned. He/She does his/her Major Mystery Initiations, until finishing the First Mountain. When he/she begins the second mountain, he/she lends hope for Esoteric Knowledge; when he/she goes through the Resurrection process, he/she enters as an adept to the Esoteric School of his/her ray. When integrating the Three Forces into one, fused with his/her Father, he/she becomes a true Esotericist. At that moment, he/she reaches the first step of Universal Wisdom.
Most students make the mistake of feeling like an Esotericist when they have only just started listening to the lectures.
  • Feeling initiated without having started practicing Suprasex.
  • Feeling holy without having eliminated the first ego.
  • Feeling practical without starting to practice.
All this because of the false feeling of the ego.
